Our next aural libation comes in the form of two generous trips from our twin Bakk Heia ritual masters (you guessed it) Schuttle & Jorg Kuning. This time both cosmic travelers have the chance to explore a more longform mode of expression, with ninety minutes of continuous, hypnotic production, all of which is entirely original and previously unreleased.

Schuttle takes the A side, and approaches it with their characteristically collage-like palette. Stylistically, it encapsulates the full spectrum of Schuttle’s esoteric ideas. Broken Atari yelps slide into swampy acid murk, whilst complex percussive weight drives beneath perfectly cromulent and ever shifting pads. After a deep-sub brain massage, the side concludes with the emergence of a trance inducing, pleasure loop that could drift on indefinitely.

Turn over for the B side, where Jorg Kuning has captured forty-three minutes of freeform, dancefloor communication. Akin to his fabled live sets, the naturalistic arrangement flows seamlessly like water over stone. Patterns shift about playfully, with moments coalescing briefly before they dissipate and evolve. It is progressive in the purest sense of the word; the momentum driving forward, gently drip-feeding us climatic spells.
